Guanay

The BEST ADVENTURE WAY to visit the Amazon Forest, Madidi and Rurrenabaque, starting from the town of Guanay, through Rio Kaka, Rio Beni, and to Rurrenabaque.
An experience where you will appreciate more of the live bio-diversity offered by the dense Amazonic forest nursed by flowing navigable rivers and natural swimming pools, where the diversity ok fauna and flora will enchant anyone for ever.

5 days from La Paz – Guanay - Rurrenabaque

Day 1. Transport to Guanay by jeep 4x4, from La Paz or Coroico, visiting various exotic and interesting places
Day 2. We start our journey after breakfast, in a motor boat towards Luquimuni village, to La Casa de Don Pedro. The trip takes 6 to 7 hrs, box lunch and drinks provided, on the way we visit the place where people work washing gold from the river beds, you can try your luck! having a go with the locals. We also visit the place where thousand of small parrots nest on the cliffs near the river banks. Upon arrival to La Casa de Don Pedro, your are provided with a place to sleep. Hot dinner will be served.
Day 3. After breakfast, we continue our journey in our boat, towards TOREWA, where we will camp. On the way we will visit some aboriginal communities to appreciate the way of living of their people, and perhaps to buy some hand made crafts. We will a typical lunch. We will arrive to TOREWA aprox. 15.30 hrs. to set camp. Tea break and relax in hammocks or make your own hand made crafts with material from the jungle. Dinner and overnight.
Day 4. After and early breakfast, we go exploring and hiking trough the jungle, to see some animals, exotic threes and animals. The guide will teach you how to survive in the jungle, and explain about medicinal and toxic plants. Return to camp by 1300 hrs. Lunch. After, we go to enjoy a good swim at the natural pools not far away. We return for dinner, and night exploration of the jungle. Overnight at the camp.
Day 5. After breakfast, we continue our journey towards Rurrenabaque. We will arrive at 1300 hrs. aprox, to have a farewell lunch.
• For those willing to travel further to Las Pampas, we offer tours for 3 or more days, or we can arrange flights and transport to La Paz.
